Harnesses, beds and feeding gear cut and stitched in Oudenaarde. We only photograph a piece on the animal wearing it, which is why everything here looks used: it is.
On the road
A harness that fits is measured on a standing dog, never guessed off a chart. The bench travels with a tape, three sample sizes and a box of spare hardware, and the measuring costs nothing whether or not you buy anything on the day.
Pick by the work
The all-day field harness. Five load points, 180 kg webbing, a chest plate that sits clear of the shoulder so a running dog keeps its stride.
Two 3-litre panniers on the Veldtuig frame. Loads ride behind the ribs, not over them, and the whole thing strips off the harness in one buckle.
Our one rule
Every picture on this site is a dog in its own week — hauling, swimming, waiting at a kerb, asleep on a boot liner. Nothing is laid out on a sheet of white paper. You can see the wear, the hair in the buckles and the mud up the flank, because that is the state the thing lives in.
We make a narrow range for dogs that put hours on it. If none of these sound like your week, a pet shop will serve you better and cost you less.
Belgium is €6.50 and arrives in two working days. The Netherlands, France and Germany are €9.50 and take three to four. Anything over €120 ships free. Beds go by pallet carrier and add a day.
Thirty days from delivery, unworn and with the size card in the box. Try a harness indoors on a clean dog first — once it has been down a muddy lane we cannot take it back, and we would rather you knew that before the walk.
One measurement decides it: the girth right behind the front legs, on a standing dog, tape snug but not pulled. Size 2 is 42–52 cm, size 3 is 50–62, size 4 is 60–74, size 5 is 72–88 and size 6 is 86–104. If you land on an overlap, send us the number and the breed and we will tell you which one we would cut.
The harness, a 1.2 metre check line, a spare chest pad, and the size card with your dog's measurements written on it in pencil. No printed catalogue and no tissue paper.
Yes, and most of them are. Hardware swaps are €18, a new chest panel is €34, a full re-webbing is €58. Post it to the workshop and it comes back inside three weeks.
Only after a fitting at the workshop. A bespoke harness is €215 and takes four weeks, and we will talk you out of it if a stock size fits — which it usually does.
Tell us roughly what you have and we will post back the measuring card and the two numbers that decide the harness. No account, no catalogue.
